They announce tonight a blue moon – Milenio.com

Tonight you can admire in the sky a blue moon, a phenomenon that occurs approximately every three years and that will not happen again until January 2018.

The US Naval Observatory reported on its website that the natural spectacle is called Blue Moon to be the second full within a calendar month, moon July in this case.

On site experts detailed that each lunar cycle lasts approximately 28 days, so when a full moon occurs at the beginning of the month is likely to be a second at the end.
