How to upgrade your Nexus device to Android 7.0 Nougat now – Gizmodo in Spanish

Google finally released the new version of Android in July . Nougat for Nexus devices (and the Pixel C) family. However, depending on where you are and what your device, the update will take longer to reach you. However, there are ways (officers) to get them now, although not without some risk.

Personally I am one of those people who seem to receive Android updates after everyone else, even with a Nexus. Therefore I decided months ago to be part of the “development program (beta)” operating system to receive updates (and new) before anybody else; even before he left for the public.

However, if you want to do this you must remember first of all that what will install on your mobile or tablet will be a test version, still developing, so you can have minor bugs and some other sudden reboot (in “greener” versions). If you still want to do, you can sign in with your Google / Gmail on the website of “Android Betas Program”, select your device and join the program. Once you’re done, you’ll get the necessary instructions to receive first version of Android Beta latest, which today is Android Nougat.

Another way to upgrade right away to Android 7.0 has to do with installing the factory image of the operating system “forced” manner using a few lines of code on your computer

Warning . if you have no idea how the process is done or have previous experience modifying your Android or installing custom ROMs recommend do not , to avoid damage to your device. And if you have experience we recommend making a backup of all your files and documents before proceeding.

The process is fairly straightforward, and Android Central explain in detail. First you have to install on your computer the tools required for installation, then enable USB debugging, unlock the boot loader and finally install the factory image using a few lines of code on your computer. Of course, again, we recommend supporting all before proceeding with this, to avoid problems. [Via Android Central]
