With an estimated release date for this summer, Microsoft revealed the various issues that will have Windows 10, the Microsoft operating system that will unify personal computers, smartphones and tablets a single platform. In a statement posted on its official blog, the company confirmed it will have seven editions distributed in the home, corporate and mobile segment.
On one side will be Windows 10 Home, present in most of the equipment aimed at the end consumer, who will have all conducted by Microsoft in recent months features such as its renewed Edge browser, the system of universal application and facial recognition feature Windows Hello. This segment is also Windows 10 Pro, an option for users who require to connect to a local network.
As for the Xbox One and mobile phones and tablets with screens of up to 8 inches, company decided to rename their version as Windows 10 Mobile, which will feature the optimized versions of Office and its Continuum interface. In turn, this category also has been adapted for business and professional edition with Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise Edition.
The corporate and government segment will have first choice to Enterprise Editions Windows 10 and Windows 10 Education, while Windows 10 IoT will be the smaller version to be used for small devices and Internet-oriented segment of Things equipment.
In turn, Windows 10 is the latest version of the company will be numbered, according to a series of statements announced by the company during the Ignite conference. Thus, Microsoft is expected to perform updates to its platform without making a renewal every two or three, as was done historically.
