WhatsApp iOS is updated with important improvements. The new version is 2.12.5 and is available in the App Store and presents interesting news for users.
Among the improvements, we find the option to mark as unread a message, mute every conversation, sharing directly from Apple Maps location and the option to set notifications in a personalized way. The application now also includes the option to add videos in the backup that is stored in iCloud
One of the most important functions in this update is the ability to mark as read – or not read – a conversation . To do this, the user must simply slide the conversation to be marked from left to right and the option to mark as read or unread appear. This feature is also available in WhatsApp Android.
Also, this new version also lowers power consumption data during VoIP calls. This is achieved with the activation of a function that is in Settings & gt; Chats and calls within WhatsApp .
Also, another improvement is that you can now navigate a conversation and old messages are automatically loaded, something that previously could but do it manually by touching a button. Finally, WhatsApp also improves the process to send photos and videos, and messages include a miniature location map
