Apple buys a company to make Siri more human – Boost Business

Today Voice is a great bet for the internet giants, and it is clear to see how Google Now, Cortana and Siri have become a essential part of the platforms of Google, Microsoft and Apple respectively.

This is just Apple who has acquired a startup that could make Siri smarter when it comes to understanding what we say and ask.

It is VocalIQ, a company that through its technology seeks to understand what we asked without the need for us to be following patterns, and trying to learn what the user says (and how you say it) to offer a similar understanding of a person.

Apple confirmed the acquisition of Vocal IQ, although not accustomed, as detailed plans, which can be deducted as a future integration with Siri.

The company on the block often buy small startups to incorporate its technology and workforce, and VocalIQ is one more of them.
