Twitter debut feature called “Moments” – El Diario de Yucatan

         


      

NEW YORK (AP) – Twitter launched on Tuesday October 6 a new feature called “Moments” (now) that helps highlight the top stories being tweeted

“Moments” will highlight. the main issues under discussion, even if the user does not follow certain tweeters. It can be found by clicking an icon of lightning on the site or app. “Moments” is updated throughout the day.

The “moments” are a mixture of news and trending topics. For example, two “moments” on Tuesday included tweets on floods in South Carolina who broke dikes and a pygmy hedgehog named Marutaro.

Twitter, which limits messages to 140 characters, has been trying to facilitate use your site and expand its appeal beyond media addicts, athletes, celebrities and politicians. The service has over 300 million users, but its growth has slowed.

Meanwhile, Facebook has 1.500 million users in your social network and even your photo app, Instagram has overtaken Twitter . in size

The news of the new feature was revealed a day after the Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey officially returned as CEO
