Face to face: Samsung Galaxy Note 7 vs. S7 Galaxy vs. Edge Galaxy S7 – CNET in Spanish

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 (photo) brings many of the features of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, but it also brings some new features that help you differentiate.

NEW YORK -. with a curved screen and similar specs, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes to complement the lines of the South Korean flagship phone company, Galaxy Note and Galaxy S

the Galaxy Note 7 takes many of the features Samsung Galaxy Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, including its Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor in the US (Exynos 8890 processor eight-core in elsewhere), water resistance (up to 1.5 meters deep for up to 30 minutes) , microSD card slot, Android Marshmallow and a powerful rear 12-megapixel camera with double photodiode.

However, there are some differences in Galaxy Note 7 would like you to know against the Galaxy S7.

to begin with, although the Galaxy Note 7 brings a curved screen like the Galaxy S7 edge, the Galaxy Note 7 has a symmetrical design, since the curvature of the screen is almost equal to the back curvature and its edge metal is located exactly halfway through its side edge.

the screen Galaxy S7 edge has a greater curvature than the rear, carrying the metal edge is located towards the rear of the cell phone. Although this is not a big change, during the time we had to test the cell before submission, I found that the Galaxy Note 7 feels a little better in the hand (the metal edge hardly feel).

on the other hand, the Galaxy Note 7 also integrates the functions of the curved screen of the Galaxy S7 Edge, including shortcuts to apps, tools, favorite contacts and news, among others.

However the Galaxy Note 7 integrates the stylus S-pen that brings virtually the same functions of the Galaxy Note 5, but adds some new features, including text translation with the S-pen, magnifier for text, anchor notes on the screen always on and consolidates many of the apps flagship Galaxy Note series to integrate them into the new app called Samsung Notes.

on the other hand, the Galaxy Note 7 is the first phone Samsung to integrate a fingerprint reader that unlocks the cell or the Secure Folder using just your eyes.

in addition, the Galaxy Note 7 integrates the new USB-C (USB type C) port that is reversible and has the potential to transmit data and energy faster. It is also why Samsung has introduced a new virtual reality glasses Gear VR.

In addition, the Galaxy Note 7 brings 64GB base storage, while the S7 Galaxy have only basic option 32GB storage .

as for the screen size, the Galaxy Note 7 has a 5.7 inch screen, the Galaxy S7 Edge 5.5-inch and 5.1-inch Galaxy S7. All three phones have the same resolution QHD (2,560×1,440 pixels) on their screens, which means that the Galaxy S7 is the one that offers greater density of pixels, followed by S7 Edge Galaxy. It is worth mentioning that the Galaxy S7 is the only one of these three cell having a flat screen.

On the other hand, the size difference between the Galaxy Note 7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge is not as drastic what happens as compared to the Galaxy S7. The Galaxy Note 7 has 153×73.9×7.9mm measures, the Galaxy S7 Edge has 150.9×72.6×7.7mm measures and the Galaxy S7 has 1424×69.6×7.9mm measures.

However, Galaxy Note 7 is and feels heavier than the other cell (169 grams versus 157 grams of S7 Edge and 152 grams of S7).

Although the Galaxy Note 7 is larger and heavier, it does not have battery with greater capacity. In fact, the Galaxy S7 Edge is the cell of this group that integrates higher capacity battery (3,600mAh versus 3,500mAh 3,000mAh of Note 7 and S7).

Like the S7, the Galaxy Note 7 integrates 4GB of RAM, front 5 megapixel camera, wireless charging, Samsung Pay and always on display.

This is probably the time when most the Galaxy S resemble the Note Galaxy , especially if you consider the additional features offered by the cell. – if you do not think you will use

However, we compare their specifications and other features of the Galaxy note 7 with the Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7 to help you determine what might be the best phone Samsung for you.
