YouTube now allows you to broadcast live content in 4K – ElTiempo.com

Although 4k technology is part of YouTube since the year 2010, the popular video platform added a new feature with its update.

YouTube will allow-at a speed of 60 frames per second and in 360 degrees-the live broadcast in 4K, that is to say, up to four times greater definition than the one provided by the streams in Full HD.

“Supporting this new format will enable creators and collaborators to convey incredibly a video in high resolution and let the spectators enjoy the clearest picture possible to watch a live transmission on equipment compatible with 4K,” noted the company in a statement.

With this feature, the users who have enabled displays will be able to enjoy a quality streaming much more realistic than they were transmissions up to now.

users will be able to experience this new technology during the transmission of the Game Awards 2016. The full program will be broadcast live in 4K.

users will be able to enjoy this new service in the transmission of the Game Awards the first of December, 2016.
