Despite the delays in its launch and the reviews for its price sale official, the AirPods Apple have attracted a quarter of the online benefits generated in the market of wireless headphones, since its launch last December —in the u.s. market.
The information from Slice Intelligence —who collects anonymous data at the global level—, it also reflects how the launch day was the day with the greatest number of benefits for the year, surpassing Cyber Monday and Black Friday.
Slice Intelligence also points out that the 75% of the headphones sold online during the christmas campaign were wireless, a sign that reflects the progressive death of the headphones with cable and, therefore, the jack of 3.5 mm.
The AirPods from Apple were presented in September of last year, along with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The arrival to the stores, however, did not occur until December of 2016, just days before the christmas holidays. Its price, questioned by the public, is 179 euros in Spain.
