Sony launched the second generation of its SmartBand – Herald Tribune

Sony launched its new SmartBand 2 new device that features multiple sensors to provide information on the levels of well-being, stress and fitness.

 

 

 “We set out to create the most advanced portable device (wearable) for this market sector. The SmartBand 2 has the ability to offer biometric data that users can take advantage of the LifeLog application. Not only shows vividly the manner in which consumers can learn more about themselves, but also allows us to explore new and exciting opportunities with our development partners, “says Kaz Tajima, vice president of the company.

 

 The band automatically records the activities as walking, running or other exercises. also measures heart rate when performing one. In addition, you can enjoy better sleep at night because it has an automatic sleep detection and intelligent alarm that vibrates to wake up slightly at the right time.

 

 It also issues slight vibrations when you receive a tweet or post to your cell. If in case you do not want to vibrate, you can modify it to work RGB LED lights.

 

 The distribution of the device will begin in September 2015 and a price of 119 euros is calculated.
