The new service privacy terms of “streaming” music Spotify, requesting access to contacts, photos and location of users, sparked criticism and suspicion and even led some customers to cancel their accounts.

Spotify this week changed its privacy policy in order to “collect, use , share and process “different types of user information, such as your location (GPS), your address book, your activity on” third party applications “(like Facebook), their images and other multimedia documents.

On its website, the company reports that the user does not accept the new conditions will have to leave the service.

At the moment, the change was implemented in the United States it is unknown when will the other markets in which the service operates. The agency Efe tried to talk to Spotify, but their spokesmen were not available.
