Instagram announced the arrival of Instagram Live Stories, a tool for streaming video live. The new update will also bring the ability to send content ephemeral via direct messages.
Another of the companies bought by Facebook introduces the video transmission. WhatsApp did it last week and now it’s the turn of Instagram. At the time of creating a history we’ll have the new mode for the camera that is in addition to the recent inclusion of a Boomerang.
The platform is similar to that of Facebook. When we begin to pass we will be able to see the comments and the likes on our screen. The difference is the maximum duration of the videos, which will be a time, and the possibility of highlight comments for all to see, or simply turn them off.
The videos are not published automatically in our history. The plan of the social network is to give more place to the content ephemeral. The application will allow us to find new Live Stories on the tab Explore that will have a section with the best broadcasts.
Instagram is also presented with the possibility of send messages via Direct that disappear after being seen. To do so go to the camera, take a photo or video and then tap the arrow to send content privately to our friends. The update is not yet available. The company announced in its blog that starting today, will begin to enable the ephemeral messages while Instagram Live Stories will be available only in the next few weeks.
