What is that stain in a “z” on the moon? – The universal

A photo released by the Twitter account of the NASA shows International Space Station (ISS) passing in front of the Moon .

The image was taken on August 2 in the village of Woodford, Virginia, by NASA photographer Bill Ingalls (ingallsimages on Twitter), who waited for two hours to capture the fleeting moment This structure across the moon.

Pictured Ingalls you can see the structure as a small “z” in the middle of the lunar surface .

The space station is in orbit the Earth at an average of 415 kilometers from the surface and travels 7.6 kilometers per second (about 27 thousand 500 kilometers per hour).
