Microsoft is preparing to offer new games to users – El Financiero

Microsoft announced that it will continue to work with developers to create new gaming experiences after acquiring provider Havok 3D physics of Intel.

In its official blog, the company dedicated to software and hardware industry, said Havok “is a fantastic addition” that binds to the DirectX 12 tools, Visual Studio and Microsoft Azure currently serving the company.

He explained that with the purchase “continues the tradition of empowering developers by providing tools to unleash their creativity with the world.”


addition to this, the company will build a full-service cloud as it is currently available for games like Crackdown in March.

Along its history, the company has partnered with Activision, EA, Ubisoft, Nintendo and Sony, among others to create more than 600 games, including Halo, Assassin’s Creed, Call of Duty, Destiny, Dark Souls and The Elder Scrolls.
