MEXICO, DF.- Through New Horizons NASA on Saturday were released several images of Pluto’s surface in high definition.
According to the photos revealed this weekend, Pluto is 800 kilometers northwest of the Plain Sputnik, where mountains and ice fields are observed.
“The new images give us a vision of super high definition on the geology of Pluto,” says Alan Stern, a researcher at New Horizons through a press release.
Images taken from July 14 to have a higher 80-megapixel resolution, and are far more detailed pictures that exist on this planet, says NASA.
It also said that in coming days could reach new pictures from NASA Pluto, however be stressed that until several decades later when they can go back to see new records this planet.
