Scientists deny that one can speak of a male and a female brain – TVN Panama

The brain differences by gender have a high social interest because it is assumed that their presence proves that humans belong to two different categories, not only in terms of their genitals.

This study, led by scientists at the University of Tel Aviv (Israel) said that human brains are composed of more common in women compared with men “mosaic” unique characteristics, some, other more common in men compared with women and some common to both.

The analysis reveals that the brains in which women predominate features only men or only very few.

To reach this conclusion, lead researcher Daphna Joel and his team analyzed more than 1,400 human brains of four data sets.

For each analysis identified a subset of brain regions were those that differed most between the sexes.

The results suggest that most of the brains are” heterogeneous mosaic “feature more characteristic of the man, more specific to women or intermediate.

This heterogeneity conclude that human brains do not belong to one of two distinct structural characteristics, ie, that there is no other male and female brain.
