Management – Ripe.- Facebook plans to create a new application "Rooms" through which you will be able to conform to the group chat of up to 250 people. These blogs are born with the idea of being able to enter and exit a group at any time, so that the user can get to know people and make new friendships.
These group chat will take place through Facebook Messenger, which soon will integrate a system of mini-games. Each of these chats will have a name in which you define the subject of the main conversation.
For example, "Elections in the united States", if you are interested in this topic, you may become part of the group and hear the opinions and points of view of the rest of members.
This system is similar to that found in other social networks like Reddit, although in this case, your maximum exposure will be of just 250 people at the same time. Facebook will be able to oust certain members of these groups in the event that someone decides to move from the line or disturb the rest of the members.
According to the words of Drew Moxon, the director of Facebook, these groups are designed to avoid our known a bombardment intensive publications or messages on topics that do not interest them. The group chats are designed to interact with our family and friends, while the "Rooms" was created to focus on specific issues, rather than personal relationships.
For the moment, Messenger Rooms only available in Canada and Australia, although tes a matter of time that ends up expanding and coming to the US, Latin america and Europe.
