Microsoft plans new experiences in games after acquiring Havok – Merca2.0

The company Microsoft acquired the technology provider Havok 3D physics, with which Intel plans to create new gaming experiences. Bueca generate a full-service cloud as it is currently available for games like Crackdown in March.

According to Microsoft, Havok is a fantastic addition that joins the DirectX 12 tools, Visual Studio and Microsoft Azure currently they are serving the company. In his blog he explained that with the purchase “continues the tradition of empowering developers by providing tools to unleash their creativity with the world.”

Previously, Microsoft had partnered with Activision, EA, Ubisoft, Nintendo and Sony, among others to create more than 600 games, including Halo, Assassin’s Creed, Call of Duty, Destiny, Dark Souls and The Elder Scrolls.

A few days ago, Microsoft announced an investment of 1,000 million between this year and 2018 in Mexico, to support and promote education and digital inclusion, according to Satya Nadella, CEO of the company.

Nadella added that the company carried out actions to promote micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through the use of information technology through education and digital inclusion. By which he spoke of the company’s commitment to support clusters in Queretaro, Aguascalientes, Jalisco, Guanajuato and Puebla.
