The flip phone from Samsung, known as Galaxy X, and Project Valley, it can be seen in the illustrations of a patent in the name of the south Korean company and found by the site Galaxy Club.
As can be seen in the drawings of the patent is that when folded, the phone Galaxy X has a finish similar to that of one of the sides of the computer Surface Book Microsoft, with a hinge that leaves a space between the two folding parts.
When the Galaxy X is open, or in the traditional mode of a cell, the smartphone flexible looks almost identical to any other Galaxy, with round corners, a camera in the upper part of the back, and exactly in the middle are the hinges that allow the phone to fold in half.
Until now, Samsung has not confirmed any phone of this nature beyond show prototypes of screens capable of bending. However, rumors say that the phone exists, is in development and the first release date was end of this year, but Samsung would have delayed its release to sometime in 2017.
The majority of rumors about the Galaxy X they say that they will sell in small quantities, due to the difficulty that represents to produce a phone of this nature.
This means that the Galaxy X will not compete with the Galaxy S8, as it is known informally as the flagship phone of Samsung for the next year. The Galaxy S8 will also have sides curved –like the Edge of Samsung– a screen 4K, redesign that eliminates almost all of the bevels and the front button. The S8 would have a dual camera on the back, according to reports.
