You can now create GIFs on your PlayStation 4 – LEVELUP

To facilitate the process of sharing your favourite moments in gaming, Sony released an update for ShareFactory. With it, you can now create GIFs and other things in the app for PlayStation 4.

So, once you install ShareFactory 2.0, you can create GIFs up to 10 seconds with the footage that you have saved in the gallery of screenshots of your console. All your creations can be shared directly on Twitter if your account is synchronized with your PlayStation 4.

That is not all; the update also adds the Photo Mode, a tool that lets you create collages of up to 6 photos. You’ll be able to use the filters and effects available in ShareFactory to edit the images to your liking. On the other hand, the update 2.0 also presents a user interface renewed, in addition to the projects now are exported to 20% faster. Also, the application has the new stickers and typography to create memes.

ShareFactory 2.0 will be available for all models of the Sony console ―PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Slim PlayStation 4 Pro― but the owners of the most powerful hardware will have additional options. Among these are the possibility of capture and comaprtir images with 4K resolution.

We are excited to see the new content created by fans of PlayStation with the features of this new update," said Stuart Platt, senior producer at Sony Interactive Entertainment America, on the PlayStation Blog.

Sony has plans to update his application of video editing using options like add comment on video and audio, support for effects with green screen and the ability to import music tracks. What is the next feature you want to see in ShareFactory?
