Explain the language choices of TLoZ: Breath of the Wild – Periodic Socket

Levelup | mexico City, Mexico.- One of the questions that we all have regarding The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is if we will be able to change the language of the game, because as you will recall, this will be the first title in the series to have voice acting. Well, the producer and series director, Eiji Aonuma, gave details about it, although it may not be what fans expect.

During a chat with IGN Portugal, Aonuma mentioned that the players themselves will be able to jump between languages, although it will be laborious, because to run this action will change the language of the console completely, like what happens with some games of Xbox One and PS4.

things get worse when we learned that you can not mix the languages. That is to say, if you want to play with voices in japanese, you’ll need to change the language of your console and, in consequence, all the texts will also be changed, without that you can modify them to your liking. Thus, we recommend that you go to courses now if you want to enjoy the game in its original language.

"In the case of the Nintendo Switch, if you change the system language, you can change the game to japanese, but that means the whole game will be in japanese. Unfortunately, it is not possible to play with English text and, for example, the voices in japanese,” said Aonuma.

Another point that we should analyze is if the console, in America at least, will have other languages besides Spanish and English, so maybe it’s only you left to play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Spanish latino, even though that will be your decision. Anyway, we will wait for more details regarding this function.
