HP withdraws 100.000 bateriías for fire risk – Strategy & Business

The affected computers are different models of laptops HP, Compaq, HP ProBook, HP Envy, Compaq Presario and HP Pavilion that were sold between march 2013 and October 2016.

The company released a full list of the machines that could have batteries defective.

The batteries affected are identified with a pattern. The sign ^ may represent a number, sign or letter. Not all batteries with bar codes that match the pattern mentioned below are necessarily defective.

Not all of the models mentioned there necessarily have defective batteries. Only one percent of the laptops of the models listed was affected.
