As happens every year, as that is about the date of presentation of a device highly anticipated is filtered out most of the details about its design and hardware. Happens with the iPhone, with the Galaxy, with video-game consoles, and so on. It is clear: it is very difficult to keep the secret when it is so large the number of companies involved in a same device, from design, supply of components, construction, distribution, etc.
In this case, it is the Galaxy S8 Samsung, which also has the plus that your arrival is delayed: will not be part of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, in the last days of February, where it will be LG with their G6 (which also there is a huge amount of known data), along with Sony, Alcatel, Nokia, Lenovo, Huawei and other companies.
And the information comes from the prolific Evan Blass, who typically handle information that is very accurate, and in this case published in Venture Beat many, many, many details about the team, some already known -or predicted – and other unexpected. The Guardian also published several details this week.
The biggest change to the S8 in respect of its previous versions is in the front, something we already knew, although not with much detail: although the design follows the previous model, Samsung reduces the maximum possible frame of the screen to maximize the surface area that it occupies. This forces it to remove the start button (and fingerprint sensor) on the front of the computer. Will take you to the back of the phone, as most of its competitors (with the notable exception of Sony and some other company, which are placed on one side, and those who manage to leave it at the front, such as Apple, HTC, OnePlus, and others).

The display of both models will have a curvature towards the back of the phone (like the Edge) and the bottom of the touch screen -where before the start button was – it will be pressure sensitive to activate special commands, such as offers Apple from the iPhone 6S, and that Huawei and ZTE incorporated then in some models.
The Galaxy S8 will be a chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 in some markets and an Exynos -designed by the own Samsung – in others, as in previous models; if you follow the tradition of other years, Argentina will the version with chip Exynos; this should not involve a change in performance. The Galaxy S8 will be 11 per cent faster, and your energy efficiency will be a 20 per cent higher than in S7, according to Blass.
The Galaxy S8 maintains the size of the batteries (3000 and 3500 mAh) and RAM (4 GB) of the samsung Galaxy S7 , but increases the internal storage base to 64 GB. It also maintains the analog audio connector, adds a USB-a port C, and the phones feature a 12-megapixel camera with aperture f/1.7, in addition to a sensor of the iris in the front of the computer to improve the biometric identification, as I had the Galaxy Note 7 , among other devices.
Among other unusual features, with the Galaxy S8 will debut Bixby, his digital assistant, which should have much in common with Viv, created by the company behind the original version of Siri, and that Samsung purchased it in 2016. Its strong: it allows a more natural interaction with the user in which understands the context of a conversation and complex requests; Google offers something similar with Google Assistant, and in theory both are a step forward in regard of Siri, Cortana and Alexa.
Samsung will also offer in-DeX, a base that will allow you to use your phone with a keyboard and a monitor, and a user interface adapted to this screen and use a mouse; it’s similar to what was implemented by Microsoft in Windows 10 and the function Continuum (and that Motorola provided with your lapdock makes a five-year period).
it Is unknown how it will work, but it could be something close to what you have developed the Google Chrome OS: a Linux desktop with Android applications. A few years ago Asus was selling another concept (a cell that is inserted into a tablet that connects a keyboard to transform it into a notebook), but the company stopped updating that line a few years ago.
According to Blass, the Galaxy S8 will be presented in New York on the 29th of march; Samsung already did something similar with the Galaxy S4. The following models were unveiled at the Congress of Mobile of Barcelona.
