MEXICO CITY (CNNExpansión) – The CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, spoke about his plans to donate his entire fortune in an interview with US magazine Fortune.
Cook’s fortune based on his actions in the technology firm, is valued at 120 million dollars (mdd), says the publication of this medium.
The executive, who was at the helm of the company after the death of its founder Steve Jobs three and a half years ago, plans to donate all its assets after providing a college career to his nephew 10 years.
According to Fortune, Tim Cook has already made some monetary contributions to charity, but he thinks develop a systematic approach to philanthropy rather than just writing checks.
The management of Apple tops this year’s list of the 50 most influential leaders of Fortune by the strength and momentum given to the company after the death of Jobs.
Tim is a recognized advocate for the rights of the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender), and also gives millions donations to health institutions like Stanford hospitals.
