The surprises do not end for the next major update of Windows 10 , as well as the arrival of support for extensions to Microsoft Edge and the new universal application OneDrive, a recent report indicates that the Redmond company is working on redesigning the Activity Center and the virtual assistant Cortana.

according to WinBeta, sources close to Microsoft indicate that the company is working on a new concept for the user interface Cortana and Activity Center that come with Redstone, maybe in the first or second wave. The new design bet on a user interface with “interactive cards” for both sections.

The idea would be that both the virtual assistant as Notification Center were kept at bay with a new style, characterized by cards information containing buttons to interact. Microsoft has an artistic concept of this but it is a fact that is working to improve the user experience, especially with notifications.

for example, users can filter them by type at the Center Activities, depending on the applications. If it comes to social networks or productivity tools, notifications for each type appear under a heading previously established. It will be easier to find notifications by type instead of looking among them.

actually some applications already have their own concept of interactive notifications, but the new interface cards tells us that they will become more complex. All for the benefit of the user. It is recalled that this is just a concept that Microsoft is working and is likely to change with implementation and over time.
